Handmade in Bangladesh
This article is perfect to be used as plaid or blanket in the less cold months of the year, but it can also be used as a towel. It is hand -woven in a traditional manual loom, composed of 80% recycled cotton thread and 20% recycled polyester, from retales of Bangladesh textile factories.
The manual loom factory in Panchagarh is located in the northern part of Bangladesh. This is one of the poorest regions in the country. Mohammad Ali Khan, founder of Handtouch, began supporting Panchagarh's weavers. The weavers came from an area traditionally known for their fabric techniques, but they had to leave their homes to flee the floods. Mohammad built a small factory to offer a workplace to the weavers. Today, the workshop has 34 manual looms (or Tant looms) and gives work to 150 artisans, of which 50% are women.
This producer is certified as fair trade according to the Ecota Fair Trade Forum in Bangladesh and is in the process of becoming a member of Fair Trade of WFTO.
All products are made by hand with 100% natural and ecological materials. They can vary slightly in size, shape and color, but they are 100% original and unique!

- Instructions for use: These textiles are handmade with recycled cotton and manually dyed. Recycled natural fibers are delicate and sometimes they are not 100% color resistant; Please manage with caution and take into account the following for the first use:
- Delicada machine washing with cold water, 30º C
- Wash separately
- Use a soft detergent
- Preferably tend to dry
- Cold iron

Returns
