This wonderful design is known worldwide as Jemima 10 Cows in honor of its creator, Jemima Akolgo, since she was the first to weave this type of baskets in Bolgatanga. Since then, Jemima has taught and inspired many other weavers with her innovative approach to traditional Gurunsi folklore.

Each of these baskets impacts its beauty and size, and constitutes a unique creation (there are no two equal!). Made for several weeks of hand work in Bolgatanga, Ghana, by artisan teachers who use a traditional technique to weave the "elephant grass" grass and its particular rhythm and Flow, cAda piece comes directly from the hands of these weavers and are a reflection of their character: energetic, colorful, determined.

The Baba Tree Basket Company Ltd. is a local company that for 15 years is committed to an ethical business model, with the aim of preserving the culture of the basketry and prosperity of the Gurinsi community in Bolgatanga. This company provides sustainable employment, a fair and significant work to more than 250 artisans, causing a true social impact on the local community.

The Baba Tree pays school quotas, funerals (one of the most important cultural traditions), hospital invoices and medical insurance for all its collaborators.

The weekly workshops offered, training in different skills and the enthusiasm and innovation of weavers allow their dominance in this art to be recognized and admired by everyone.

All products are made by hand with 100% natural and ecological materials. They can vary slightly in size, shape and color, but they are 100% original and unique!

Returns

You may give up the sale and return the products for free within 30 calendar days from the receipt of the order for the reason it is, and must proceed as follows:

• Returns from Spain: A code will be sent by SMS so that you can return the order for free in any post office.
