This wonderful design has been made by hand in Bolgatanga, Ghana, by artisans who use a traditional technique to weave the "elephant grass" grass and its particular rhythm andFlow. Each piece is made for several weeks of work andIt comes directly from the hands of these weavers and are a reflection of their character: energetic, colorful, determined. It can be used as storage (located next to the sofa with blankets, magazines ...) or as a pot for interior plants of your house.
The Baba Tree Basket Company Ltd. is a local company that for 15 years is committed to an ethical business model, with the aim of preserving the culture of the basketry and prosperity of the Gurinsi community in Bolgatanga. This company provides sustainable employment, a fair and significant work to more than 250 artisans, causing a true social impact on the local community.
The Baba Tree pays school quotas, funerals (one of the most important cultural traditions), hospital invoices and medical insurance for all its collaborators.
The weekly workshops that it offers, the training in skills and the enthusiasm and innovation of the weavers allow their dominance in this art to be recognized and admired by everyone.
All products are made by hand with 100% natural and ecological materials. They can vary slightly in size, shape and color, but they are 100% original and unique!

Returns
