A network of women from the Wolof ethnicity who live in nine Senegalese villages are working together to create beautiful artisan baskets. They use talks of totora, an aquatic plant that harvest locally, and reuse plastic strips that are used to make prayer rugs, in this way women provide additional income to their homes weaving baskets among their daily tasks.
All products are handmade with a lot of love and with 100% natural and ecological materials. They can vary slightly in size, shape and color, but they are 100% original and unique!
Instructions for use: - Sol: Because the fibers are natural, keep the products dyed outside the direct sunlight for long periods of time to avoid natural discoloration.
