Each of these baskets has been hand woven by talented women living in rural areas of Kenya, using sisal threads and natural dyes. These women extract the fibers from this plant and use them to weave both bags and decorative elements, sharing their creativity in this beautiful way and, at the same time, useful. These types of baskets are characterized by their ability to remodel, as well as its durability and totally natural composition.
All products are handmade with love and with 100% natural and ecological materials. They can vary slightly in size, shape and color, but they are 100% original and unique!
Instructions for use:
- Sun: Because the fibers are natural, keep the products dyed out of direct sunlight for long periods of time to avoid natural discoloration. - Loss of form: sometimes during transport or for the use they are given, the baskets can lose their original form. To recover it, it is recommended to spray with water to moisten the fibers and remodel to taste. In case of not being enough, the basket can be submerged for a maximum of 10 seconds in water, drain and remodel.
